About the Student Council

The Student Council of Incheon National University's Department of English Language and Literature is a self-governing organization that guarantees freedom of action.
The Council communicates with students to gather and represent their needs and encourages interaction between people in the department to help them bond with each other.
In addition, the Council is responsible for managing the budget essential to operate the department and is solely responsible for organizing and promoting departmental events.

This year (2021), “Re:Write”, the 41st student union of the Dept. of English Language and Literature, is committed to empowering students to write the stories they want to tell.

We've put in place a few specific systems to make this happen.
First, we will create and expand support for various student clubs so that as many students as possible can enjoy activities together.
Secondly, we will run a mentorship program between current and new students to help them adjust to school life and actively participate in various events.
Third, we'll push for an end-of-semester event, ‘English Day’.
We would like to organize an event where we can share the outputs of the various clubs and build unity and fellowship in the department.
As a student union, we will not lose this commitment and will continue to listen to and engage with more students.
We will strive to be a student union that takes responsibility for what we do.
