Incheon National University (President In-jae Lee) announced that its shooting team achieved outstanding results at the 106th National Sports Festival, held in Busan Metropolitan City starting on October 17.

On the opening day of the competition, Jun-hwan Lee, a sophomore in the Department of Kinesiology and Health, won the gold medal in the Men’s University Division Air Rifle Individual Event, claiming the top spot. The INU shooting team also earned a silver medal in the team event, marking excellent performances in both individual and team categories.

Coach Seung-yoon Shim, who leads the INU shooting team, stated, “This is the result of relentless effort while balancing both academics and training,” and added, “We will continue to do our best as representatives of Incheon City.”

Incheon National University has consistently demonstrated the strength of its athletic programs by achieving remarkable results in the National Sports Festival and various domestic and international shooting competitions.
