A research team led by Kang Woo-chul, a professor of Dept. of Embedded-Systems Engineering at Incheon National University, has been selected as a presentation paper by Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS), the world's most prestigious society in the field of artificial intelligence. 

The title of the paper is "Adaptive Depth Networks with Skippable Sub-Paths," and we propose a way to dynamically adjust the depth of deep learning models. The research results were highly valued as industrial because they can be applied to freely control performance and power consumption in object recognition models or large-scale language models of autonomous vehicles.

The authors are Professor Kang Woo-cheol and Lee Hyung-seop, a master's student, and will be presented at the 37th NeurIPS Academic Conference in Vancouver, Canada, on December 10, 2024.
