Incheon National University (President Injae Lee) announced that its Startup Support Group has been selected as the top-performing institution for the second consecutive year in the “2024 Pre-Startup Package Main Institution Performance Evaluation.”

The Pre-Startup Package program is a startup support initiative that identifies prospective entrepreneurs with technological innovation potential and provides comprehensive startup support, including commercialization funding, education, and mentoring. Incheon National University has successfully operated this program for seven consecutive years since 2019, and as a result, has achieved the remarkable accomplishment of being named a top-performing institution for two consecutive years.

In 2024, the university nurtured a total of 31 pre-startup entrepreneurs, producing multiple top-tier and high-performing startups, and achieved tangible results such as securing follow-up investments and expanding sales channels. In particular, through a systematic investment attraction program, four companies successfully secured funding, laying a solid foundation for the growth of startup enterprises.

Chae Jin-seok, Director of the Startup Support Group, stated, “Our 15 years of accumulated startup support experience and field-centered program operation have led to this positive evaluation result,” and added, “We will continue to strengthen the university’s internal startup support capacity and cooperation system to nurture excellent startup companies in the future.”

Meanwhile, Incheon National University actively supports the growth of prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs through a variety of startup support programs in addition to the Pre-Startup Package, including the New Business Startup Academy, Sports Industry Startup Support Program, Re-Challenge Success Package, and the Innopolis Campus program.
